Mitsubishi Electric M-Series and Mr Slim splits fault codes
The domestic and small commercial range, using the two-character A-Control codes. This is what is on most British walls. On a wireless remote the code comes out as a blink and beep count rather than two characters, and the domestic MSZ wall units have no drain pump or drain code unless one has been added.
Codes on the M-Series and Mr Slim splits follow the same Mitsubishi Electric scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.

- PAA drain fault. Mitsubishi tell their own engineers not to assume the pump has failed — the usual cause is a blockage backing the water up.Get it checked
- U1U1 is a high-pressure fault on a Mitsubishi air conditioner and on an Ecodan alike. The fault is the same; the checks depend on which appliance you have.Get it checked
- 2503A drain sensor fault, which is the version where the tray is clean. Mitsubishi note the indoor unit may have a float switch instead of a sensor.Get it checked
- EFA non-defined error that Mitsubishi attribute to noise interference, with a published owner remedy: power down for thirty seconds.Usually simple to fix
