Glow-worm Energy Combi fault codes
Built 2014 onwards
Current volume range.
Codes on the Energy Combi follow the same Glow-worm scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.
Fault codes
All Glow-worm codes that apply to this model.
- F.28Ignition was unsuccessful at start-up and the boiler has locked out. Check the gas and the condensate pipe before calling anyone.Get it checked
- F22The boiler has locked out because system pressure is too low to run safely. Topping up to 1.2 bar and resetting normally fixes it.Get it checked
- F75The boiler saw no pressure rise when the pump started, so it locked out. Almost always the pressure sensor or the pump, not low pressure.Get it checked
- F1No flame was detected during ignition, so the boiler has shut the gas off and locked out. Two resets at most before calling someone.Stop — call an engineer
- F.29The flame was established and then lost, and re-ignition failed. Different from F.28 and it points somewhere else.Get it checked
- F.9A circulation or pressure sensing fault. Check the pressure and open all radiator valves before assuming the worst.Get it checked
- F.61A fault in the gas valve control circuit on the main board. The appliance will not fire and this needs an engineer.Get it checked
