Panasonic Panasonic combination microwaves fault codes
Microwave, grill and convection in one cavity. More sensors, and the models where HOT and the cavity temperature displays turn up most often.
Codes on the Panasonic combination microwaves follow the same Panasonic scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.
Panasonic fault codes
Every published Panasonic code. Open a code to see which models and years it applies to.
- H97An inverter or magnetron fault — and a counter. Panasonic state three H97 events disable the oven permanently, even after the faulty part has been replaced.Get it checked
- H95Panasonic’s UK support answer puts H95 on the inverter circuit; their service manuals decline to separate it from H97, H98 and H99 at all.Get it checked
- DDemo mode. The appliance lights up, counts down and appears to work while making no microwaves at all, and it survives being delivered to you.Usually simple to fix
- CoolingNothing is wrong. Panasonic publish this one plainly: the fan is clearing heat off the electronics, and the word goes away when it stops.Usually simple to fix
- H99The catch-all. Panasonic UK describe H99 as a general code for a problem with no code of its own; their service manuals file it with the magnetron.Get it checked
- HOTThe cavity is still too warm from the last thing you cooked for an automatic programme. Manual cooking still works, and opening the door speeds it up.Usually simple to fix
- ChildThe child lock. The keypad is dead, the door still opens, and on Panasonic’s UK models three presses of Stop/Cancel clears it — three presses of Start is what set it.Usually simple to fix
- ErrorThe same word means two opposite things on a Panasonic, and when it appeared decides which: a wrong button press, or stop using the appliance.Get it checked
- U14The water tank is empty. A user condition rather than a fault, and only combination steam models have a tank to report on.Usually simple to fix
- U50An overheat message with an unusual twist: on Panasonic multi-ovens the room being warm can cause it, not just the cooking you just did.Usually simple to fix
