Appliance technical reviewer

Washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, oven, hob, range cooker, microwave and refrigeration pages have not been reviewed by a domestic appliance engineer, and none of them claims to have been. Appliance repair has no statutory register in the UK, so there is no credential to check even when the post is filled — what the role would bring is trade experience in judging which faults an owner can safely tackle and which belong inside the cabinet. Until then, that judgement follows what the manufacturer publishes, and where a manufacturer publishes nothing we leave the gap visible rather than guessing on their behalf. Microwaves are the category where filling this post would change the most, because they are the one appliance here whose service documentation says in terms that unplugging it does not make the inside safe.
