Gas Safe registration to be displayed on appointment
Every boiler page rated “get it checked” or “stop — call an engineer” is signed off by a Gas Safe registered engineer, who sets the severity and approves or removes every do-it-yourself step. The named engineer and their registration number appear here once appointed.
What reviewing means here
Technical checks the severity rating and every do-it-yourself step on the pages they sign off, and re-reviews them at least every 18 months. Where a page says a fault needs a registered engineer, that decision is theirs, not the writer’s.
