Baxi Duo-tec Combi fault codes
Built 2010 onwards
Long-running combi range, widely installed.
Codes on the Duo-tec Combi follow the same Baxi scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.
Fault codes
All Baxi codes that apply to this model.
- E119System pressure has fallen below the level the boiler will operate at. Refilling to 1.2 bar and resetting usually clears it in a few minutes.Get it checked
- E133The boiler failed to establish a flame and has locked out on the gas valve. Do not reset it more than twice.Stop — call an engineer
- E125The boiler is not detecting enough water movement through it and has stopped. Usually the pump, an air lock, or a blocked filter.Get it checked
- E160The fan is not running at the speed the appliance expects. Baxi direct engineers to check the fan and its cable, in that order.Get it checked
- E110The overheat thermostat has tripped. The boiler is producing heat that is not being carried away, and it should stay off until that is fixed.Stop — call an engineer
- E28The flue temperature sensor has faulted, or flue temperatures are running high. Baxi flag a blocked heat exchanger as a possibility.Get it checked
- E128The flame has been repeatedly lost during operation. That is a different problem from failing to ignite.Get it checked
- E168A control board lockout. Baxi note it often follows a power supply problem, so a proper power cycle is worth trying first.Get it checked
