CDA CDA SCD4509 and SCD6011 (indicator lights, no codes) fault codes
Machines with no code display. Their manuals show faults as flashing programme indicators: Rapid flashing for a longer inlet time, Rapid and 90 min together for not reaching the required temperature, ECO flashing for overflow, and Universal, ECO and Rapid together for a failure between the main and display boards. CDA’s instruction for the overflow pattern is to turn off the main water supply before calling customer care.
Codes on the CDA SCD4509 and SCD6011 (indicator lights, no codes) follow the same CDA scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.
CDA fault codes
Every published CDA code. Open a code to see which models and years it applies to.
- F2Cannot discharge water. CDA mention glass shards by name in their own remedy, which is a warning as much as a diagnosis.Get it checked
- FFWater inlet system failure. CDA want the tap checked and the hose filter cleaned, and both are free.Get it checked
- F1Overflow. CDA tell you to unplug the machine and close the tap — power first, then water, and the order is worth understanding.Stop — call an engineer
- F3Water is still coming in and the machine cannot stop it. Close the tap now — this is the one CDA code to act on before reading anything else.Stop — call an engineer
- F7Overheating. CDA publish it as a distinct fault from their two heater codes, which tells you something about what it means.Get it checked
- F9Divisor position error. The machine has lost track of the valve that decides which spray arm gets the water.Get it checked
