LG LG NeoChef fault codes
The countertop range sold in the UK, solo and grill. Inverter-driven, which is why the inverter communication code is one to expect here.
Codes on the LG NeoChef follow the same LG scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.
LG fault codes
Every published LG code. Open a code to see which models and years it applies to.
- F3LG document this one twice and differently. One article says wipe the touch panel, the other says the control panel is faulty and needs service.Get it checked
- LOCNot a fault. LOC is LG’s child lock, and it releases by holding STOP/CLEAR until the display drops it.Usually simple to fix
- DOORThe word DOOR rather than a number. LG say the door is not closed or the latch is not engaged, and they include transit packing as a cause.Get it checked
- F16LG say a heating issue was detected. They publish F19 with word-for-word identical text, so both codes land here.Get it checked
- E10LG say an internal short was detected in the control board, and then give you something to try anyway: unplug it for a full minute.Get it checked
- F1LG publish this as a problem with the mainboard and say it requires service. There is no owner remedy, and the useful question is whether the appliance is worth it.Get it checked
- F2LG describe a thermistor problem putting the temperature in the unit out of range. It is the reading that is wrong, not necessarily the cavity.Get it checked
- F11An inverter communication error in LG’s words. The control board and the inverter have stopped talking, and only inverter models can show it.Get it checked
- 12HNot a fault at all. LG publish 12H and 24H together as the clock asking which format to use before it will accept a time.Usually simple to fix
- F13LG publish F13 as a voltage error. The same modal is titled for F14 and F15 and explains neither, so no meaning exists for those two.Get it checked
- F17Published by LG as a problem with the temperature sensor. Their F2 entry covers an unusable reading, so this is the sensor itself being at fault.Get it checked
- F4A humidity sensor error in LG’s words. It affects the automatic sensor programmes rather than ordinary timed cooking.Get it checked
- F5LG call this a Damper Switch Error. A damper is the vent flap on an over-the-range model, so only those appliances can show it.Get it checked
