Hoover Hoover HBWM integrated fault codes
Built 2018 onwards
Fully integrated behind a cupboard door, sold as HBWM 916TAHC-80, 814TAHC-80 and 84TAHC-80. Being built in changes the practical work rather than the diagnosis: the filter and the drain hose are both harder to reach.
Codes on the Hoover HBWM integrated follow the same Hoover scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.

- E3The machine is not draining. Hoover’s remedy runs from the filter outwards to your own plumbing, and one step tells you how to empty it into the sink.Get it checked
- E2The machine cannot load water. Hoover send you to a filter most owners have never heard of, inside the fill hose connection at the back of the machine.Get it checked
- E7A door problem. If the door is locked shut, Hoover want you to unplug and wait two to three minutes before trying it again, and the wait is the point.Get it checked
- E4Too much foam or too much water. Hoover’s entire published remedy is about detergent, which tells you what they think causes it.Get it checked
