All brands Untethered chargepoints fault codes
A socket you plug your own cable into. These have a lock actuator that holds the plug in place while charging, which is the source of a fault family tethered units do not have.
Codes on the Untethered chargepoints follow the same All brands scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.

- Not charging on scheduleAlmost certainly the law rather than a fault. Chargers are required to apply a random delay of up to ten minutes and to ship with a default off-peak schedule.Usually simple to fix
- Charger keeps trippingDo not keep resetting it. UK chargepoints are required to detect a dangerous supply fault, and repeated tripping may be the charger reporting your electricity supply.Stop — call an engineer
- Red lightDo not assume red means broken. Some manufacturers publish it as a stop condition; Ohme publish steady red on their Home and Go as connected and waiting for your car.Get it checked
- Cable stuck in the socketAlarming and usually mechanical. The counterintuitive fix that manufacturers publish is to push the plug further in, not to pull harder.Get it checked
- Charging slower than expectedUsually the charger sharing the house supply, a solar mode doing its job, or a CT clamp problem — Ohme publish a specific fallback to 16 amps.Usually simple to fix
