Ohme EV charger fault codes

Ohme publish no fault code list — their chargers report through a light ring, a screen or the app. What they do publish, better than any other manufacturer here, is exactly what voltage window their units work in and who to ring when your supply falls outside it, and it is not them.

Where the code shows on a Ohme

Check which Ohme you have before reading anything into a colour, because the conventions contradict each other. On a Home or Go, steady red means connected and waiting for the vehicle, which is normal. On a Home Pro, red means error — except on the screen, where Ohme note it turns from blue to red when max charge is applied. The ePod has no published web decoder at all; its colour reference lives inside the My Charger section of the app.

How to reset a Ohme

Ohme sanction two owner actions and no more. Power cycling: switch the supply off, wait five seconds, switch back on. Or simply unplug and re-plug the vehicle. For a charger that has gone offline they publish a longer version — unplug from the car, switch off at the dedicated breaker, leave it off for fifteen minutes to drain remaining power, then switch back on. Beyond that their position is unambiguous: do not attempt to open, repair, tamper or modify the Ohme charger in any way, there are no user-serviceable parts.
