Hotpoint Integrated Hotpoint fridge freezers fault codes
Hotpoint publish a parallel error code page for built-in models, and in September 2026 it carried the same eleven rows word for word as the freestanding page. Worth knowing because an integrated appliance is harder to isolate — the socket is usually behind the cabinetry rather than reachable.
Codes on the Integrated Hotpoint fridge freezers follow the same Hotpoint scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.

- E9Freezer high temperature alarm, and the only Hotpoint fridge code with a genuine owner cause. Their published first suspect is a door left open.Get it checked
- E3Labelled a defrost sensor fault, but Hotpoint attach an oddly specific owner check to it: the drain pipe and the plumbing under your sink.Get it checked
- E1A temperature sensor fault. Hotpoint route these straight to an engineer, and the reason is consistent across the whole industry rather than unhelpfulness.Get it checked
- E0Ice maker fault, and one of the two codes Hotpoint lead their own page with. It only applies if your appliance actually has one.Get it checked
