Baumatic Candy-built models without a display fault codes
BDIF612, BDFF612, BDIF613, BDID615, BDI 1L38B-80 and BDI 1L63B among them. The current manuals say an error is shown by every LED flashing the error number with a five-second pause — two flashes for Error 2, three for Error 3 — so the E-code pages here still apply; count the flashes. The 2016-era manuals publish only that one or more LED flashing quickly means the water inlet tap is turned off.
Codes on the Candy-built models without a display follow the same Baumatic scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.
Baumatic fault codes
Every published Baumatic code. Open a code to see which models and years it applies to.
- E3Cannot drain. Baumatic name the siphon specifically, which points at the plumbing under your sink rather than the machine.Get it checked
- E2No water reaching the machine. Baumatic’s Candy-built models word it three ways across editions — kinked hose, closed hose, "does not fill" — and the checks are the same.Get it checked
- E4Water leak. Baumatic’s published fix for this code is to check the drain hose — but the instruction they should have given is elsewhere in the same manual.Stop — call an engineer
- E8Heating fault — or blocked filters. Baumatic give two quite different causes for one code, and one of them is free.Get it checked
- E5A control electronics fault on the Candy-era machines. On a Baumatic built before 2014 the same E6 and E7 are thermistor faults, which is a far smaller bill.Get it checked
