Miele TWD640WP fault codes
Heat pump. Carries the refrigerant-circuit codes (F1, F2, F156, F157, F159, F206, F207) that can only arise on a heat pump machine.
Codes on the TWD640WP follow the same Miele scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.

- F66The airflow fault, and the code most often described wrongly elsewhere. Miele publish eight causes and seven of them are yours to fix — including a filter that is simply worn out.Get it checked
- F55The machine gave up after three hours with the washing still damp. Miele name a cause most people would not think of: the spin speed on your washing machine.Get it checked
- F50Three quite different things share this number, and one of them is a software glitch that appears about a minute after you open the door to add something.Get it checked
- F158The appliance has overheated. Miele give no owner remedy for this at all — not even cleaning the filters — and for them that silence is deliberate.Stop — call an engineer
- F252Dirty contacts in the door hinge area. One of the very few Miele codes with a genuine owner fix, and it takes a cloth.Usually simple to fix
