Beko [E01] fault codewhat it means and how to fix it

Beko give E01 as a chassis water filling fault, meaning water has collected in the base of the machine where the flood protection detects it. What makes this page different from every other anti-flood code on this site is the instruction Beko attach to it, which is unusually direct. Their solution reads: error algorithm is activated, cycle ends, and if you see the error continuously, cut off the electricity, close the valve, get in touch with the authorised service. That is a three-step isolation instruction with no hedging and no suggestion of running it again to check. It is worth comparing across brands, because manufacturers differ enormously here and the difference is not academic. Beko, Miele, CDA and Lamona all tell you to isolate water and power on a leak code. LG tell you to call for service if the same problem occurs again and say nothing about the tap. One Samsung support page suggests applying insulation tape to a leaking hose. Beko are at the good end of that range, and when a manufacturer with an otherwise sparse four-code table takes the trouble to spell out an isolation sequence, that is them telling you which of their codes they consider serious.
