Miele Miele G 5000 Active fault codes
The entry range, sold as Active and Active Plus. Miele publish no key explaining their model numbering, so the suffix letters are not decoded here — SC, SCi, SCVi and Vi denote freestanding through to fully integrated, but that mapping is industry usage rather than anything Miele state.

Fault codes
All Miele codes that apply to this model.
- F11Water left standing in the cabinet because the machine cannot drain. Miele treat this as an owner job and walk you through the drain pump.Get it checked
- F12The water inlet is blocked or restricted. Miele use the same wording for F13, F15 and F173, and warn that the hose connection houses an electrical valve.Get it checked
- F70The Waterproof System has activated. Miele give the clearest emergency instruction of any dishwasher manufacturer — close the stopcock, switch off, unplug, call.Stop — call an engineer
- F69The circulation pump is blocked. Miele distinguish this from a pump fault, and a blockage is yours to clear.Get it checked
- F52A sensor has detected too much foam and stopped the programme. Nothing is broken — the machine is protecting itself from suds.Usually simple to fix
