myenergi zappi Output Fault
Code 24: the zappi has measured voltage on its output when the output should have been off. The unit stays off; reset once, and if it repeats it is a call to myenergi.

We do not pass enquiries to a repair firm, so there is no form here. When you book a registered electrician, tell them the make, the model and the exact code or message on the display, and ask whether they carry parts for this make — that is what turns one visit into a repair rather than a quote.
What this means
Output Fault, code 24, is the zappi catching itself doing something it should not. myenergi’s definition is that the unit has detected a wrong output voltage, and the example they give is the telling one: a voltage has been detected when it should be off. The zappi measures what is on the cable to the car and compares it with what its relays are supposed to be doing, and when the two disagree it refuses to continue, because the whole point of the relays is that when the charger says off, the car-side pins are dead.
The published action is the standard one, unplug the EV and press and hold the button to reset the unit. This is a code where the persistence clause at the end of the table deserves to be read literally.
A relay that is letting voltage through when open is either sticking or welded, which is the condition code 28 names outright, and a measurement circuit that is reporting voltage that is not there is a protection board fault. Neither is something the reset can mend, so a second 24 in a short period means stop using the charger and contact your supplier or myenergi technical support. It has a twin in code 32, Voltage Mismatch, where the controller and the protection board measure the output differently; 24 is the output being wrong, 32 is the two measurements of it disagreeing.
What causes it
| Cause | What is actually happening | How likely |
|---|---|---|
| A relay letting voltage through when it should be open | The reading the code describes. A sticking or partly welded contact; code 28 is the fully welded case. | Common |
| A transient reading after switching | Contacts opening under load can leave a brief voltage on the output that the measurement catches. The single published reset is for this. | Occasional |
| A fault in the output measurement circuit | The zappi reports voltage that is not physically present. Still a hardware fault inside the unit, and still a reason to stop using it. | Occasional |
