Neff B17CR32.1B fault codes
Built-in single oven. Uses the generic D0111 or E0111 catch-all rather than a named code table.
Codes on the B17CR32.1B follow the same Neff scheme as the rest of the range. Where a code behaves differently on this generation, the code page says so.
Neff fault codes
Every published Neff code. Open a code to see which models and years it applies to.
- Door lockedThree reasons a Neff oven door will not open, and for the worst of them the published fix is the opposite of what everybody tells you. Do not cut the power.Get it checked
- E05-32A button is stuck or has been held down too long. This is the only current oven code BSH explain on their website and also print in their manuals, and the fix is free.Get it checked
- E0111The honest catch-all. BSH confirm their ovens display codes, give the format and tell you to quote it to the engineer, then decline to publish what any of them mean.Get it checked
- Er3Not a fault, and Neff say so outright. The electronics have got warm, the cooling fan is dealing with it, and the oven resumes heating on its own.Usually simple to fix
- 000Three zeros on the display mean two completely different things depending on whether they are flashing, and Neff answer the question wrongly on their own website.Usually simple to fix
- SAFEThe childproof lock. Neff list five different things their ovens might show for it and then explain only one of them, which is the whole problem with this code.Usually simple to fix
- E101The temperature sensor has failed. The only BSH oven code with a named component behind it — and it comes from manuals for compact ovens they stopped selling a decade ago.Get it checked
- E-3The Slide&Hide door opening mechanism has reported a fault. This is the one oven code Neff publish that Siemens does not, because only Neff have the motorised door.Get it checked
- Small squaresSmall squares on the display mean demo mode was switched on by accident. Neff describe what that does in five words: in demo mode the oven runs cold.Usually simple to fix
- Er2Wrong mains connection. This is the most serious code Neff publish for an oven, and their own instruction is to kill the circuit and get an electrician.Stop — call an engineer
- E010Technical malfunction, and that is the entirety of what BSH publish. One of four codes sharing a single two-word explanation on discontinued compact ovens.Get it checked
- E5116A steam oven code, not a conventional oven one. Neff say it can occur on first use because there is still air in the system, and publish a full owner procedure.Get it checked
- E845The pump has drawn air repeatedly, which on a steam oven means the water tank. Four codes share this one answer, and none of them applies to a conventional oven.Get it checked
- E8The steam-supporting function has failed. Neff tell you to press the clock button and carry on, because everything that does not need steam still works.Get it checked
