Vaillant thermoCOMPACT 142–282 /1 E and turboMAX pro fault codes

No fault codes at all. These boilers report through a row of indicator lights — power, demand, fan, ignition, flame and a red burner lock-out lamp — and their installation instructions diagnose by which lights are lit. If your Vaillant has lights and no digits, nothing on this site applies to it by number; the lock-out lamp is reset with the reset button and a repeat needs an engineer.
